Ii is very useful to the students who love exploring space science. The content of this application are the Missions, Images, videos, Tweets, Tv and Radio, News and Features and others that have new updates. It is also can be used by the children. You can search of what you like to search about the space. 

This application is can free to download but you need to use Internet connection in order to become updated in the news.

Kamay ni Hesus at Brgy. Tinamnan, Lucban Quezon
Kamay ni Hesus Shrine is located at Brgy. Tinamnan, Lucban Quezon it is one of the tourist destination of the peoples during the Holy Week, it is now becoming a yearly round destination for people who wants to attend the healing mass conducted in the chapel. 



This is our first time to visit the Kamay ni Hesus Shrine. It is really far from Calaca, Batangas to Brgy. Tinamnan, Lucban Quezon, it takes more than 7 hours we travel, even it is too far, all of our weary is worth it because it is nice place to visit with my family. The statue of Christ at the Via Dolorosa Grotto is 50ft tall and currently the World's third tallest  Christ Statue. Upon reaching the top, a very nice eye view of that will greet you.  Within the 5 hectares property, can also visit Luklukan ni Maria, Noah's Ark, Resurrected Christ, Gallery of Saints, Garden of Eden, The Angel's Hill, The Marian Park and the religious Murals. You can also freely to take pictures and buy some souvenirs.

This is the part of the song reflects the Town of Calaca is one of the prosperous area of ​​Batangas. Many have witnessed here in the US town that truly surprising. Such as when each of the month of October which is celebrated Atcahara festival in our town and on the 24th of October is also celebrated our patron St. Archangel Raphael. CalaAtchara Festival in celebration of the many tournaments are available. Some of these are the Drum and Lyre Exhibition and become one of the students from elementary and high school. Agri Fair also shows the new crops. The contest also unique village. Miss Calaca also participated in the beautiful CalaqueƱas. Include the cooking contest delicious atchara. There is also a battle in modern dance and programs for senior citizens of our town. And one of the most seen is the courts and street dance battle of every school from elementary to secondary school. All this will be joining every barangay in Calaca.There are also resorts which really affordable budget to relax and to delete the stress, just as Yabut Resort is one of those visited by people every summer for because of its natural beauty and really very eco-friendly gift.




The citizens here has their own living. Just as farming the land and there are wide - variety of plants and really rare to see the land bare. One of these is the citizens near the sea, which is also the source of livelihood. There were also those in the public markets and there are vendors, with their respective same vehicle which they use for making a living on a daily basis. And this is my homeland admire nice to live in our town. So come, come to recognize Calaca.

AETAkbo ang Feelings, Nagmahal Nasaktan Tumakbo of UB YCG (University of Batangas Young Communicator's Guild) aims to help the Aeta Community in Rosario Batangas. This is the one project that the YCG is the way of helping the people in Rosario, Batngas specially the Aeta that are living their. T he fund that they are collected are used to build an comfort room for the Aeta people in Rosario, Batangas,because they have no comfort room in their houses.



Together with our enjoying to join in this fun run and we are happy because the benefits of this fun run is for the good thing that will help to the peoples in Rosario, Batangas Aeta people.

San Rafael Archangel Parish Church

San Rafael Archangel Parish Church is located at Calaca, Batangas. It is church is founded in 1836. This church is centuries too old but it has been renovated recently especially the facade that's why the church looks new. It is one of the Catholic Church placed in the Calaca, Batangas. Every 24th of October, we celebrate the feast day of patron Saint, St.Rafael the Archangel held at coastal barangayas attended by the parishioners and devotees even from outside Calaca town. The mass schedule is every mondays to saturdays 5:30 am and sundays 5:30 am, 7:30 am, 9:00 am and 4:00 pm.

How to make  Papaya Atchara

 Atchara made in Calaca

One of the best product of Calaca is Atchara. It is one of the appetizer that served for the celebration especially during the fiesta in our barrio.  It is made up of grated green papaya, placed in a small air tight conatiner and soked for a week in cooked vinegar and sugar with carrots, onion, garlic, pepper corn and red bell peper.

Ingridients:
  • 4 lbs of grated green papaya 
  • 2 medium sized of carrots (sliced)
  • 1 large onion (thinly sliced)
  • 10 cloves of garlic (thinly sliced)
  • 2 tbsp. of pepper corn
  • 1 large red bell paper (cut into strips)
  • 1 knob of ginger (cut into strips)
  • 1/4 cup of salt to dehydrate papaya
  • 1 1/2 of salt to tbsp. for the syrup
  • 2 cups of white vinegar
  • 1 1/2 of sugar
Step by step cooking procedure:
1. Place the grated papaya into a large bowl and combine 1/4 salt in the grated papaya until the slat is well distribured.
2. Cover the bowl and place inside the refrigerator overnight (the salt will dehydrate to the grated papaya). 
3. Place the grated papaya in a strainer then rinse with the running water.
4. Using any clean cloth or cheese cloth as a container, then put the papaya inside the cloth and squeeze it until the liquid comes out.
5. Put the papaya back into the large bowl and combine with carrots, garlic, onion, whole pepper corn and red bell paper.
6. Heat the pan and pour vinegar and wait until it boils.
7. Add the sugar and 1 1/2 tbsp. salt then stir until diluted.
8. Turn off the heat and wait to cool down the temperature of syrup.
9. Placed the combine vegetables and spices in the airtight jar and put the syrup.
10. Seal the jar and place inside the refrigerator for five days to achieve the good flavor.
11. Ready to serve your appetizer in the table.

Calacatchara is derived from the word "Calaca" and "Atchara", which the Atchara is the best product of the calaca. Calacatchara is happened every month of October, it is the 10th day festivities which start on October 15 and until October 24 the feast of our town's patron saint, St Raphael the Archangel. Calacatchara festival is started in 2004, with Vice Governor Sofranio "Nas" Ona Jr. during his term as a mayor of the Calaca with the purpose of promoting "atcharang calaca" which had gone unpopular for a while because of outdated processing procedures and perhaps, the lack of the promotion of the product. The " Atcharang Calaca" is one of the best appetizer during fiesta's and other celebration in Calaca and also "pasalubong" to the visitors and friends. In the 10th day celebration of it, our town have different activities everyday, one of the highlight activitiy is the street and court dancing which is the competition of the private and public school in the Calaca. This competition is the participation of the school that scope of our town, which they showcased their talents and the grand exhibit of the props depicting Calacan culture in the street and court dancing competition, which have twenty five elementary and  five secondary levels competed. Every two years this street and court dancing happened.
